Ela features an intimate indoor pool, reminiscent of a Roman bath, which offers seclusion as well as independence from the caprices of the weather or changing seasons. A skylight allows light to bathe the room, but without any compromise on privacy. To the rear of the residence, a 76 square metre private walled garden offers a verdant respite from daily life and an ideal space to enjoy the outdoors without ever leaving home.

In the beating heart of Estrela, away from the hustle and bustle of touristic areas, Ela is perfectly located for strolls amid a genteel landscape of natural beauty. Mere metres away lies the acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurant LOCO, allowing for fine dining in a more peaceful and less crowded environment. For lovers of history, the area also boasts one of the most beautiful churches in Lisbon – the Basílica da Estrela. If nature is your calling, the nearby Jardim da Estrela offers an environment for relaxation amid nature.
Mere steps beyond Ela lies the Jardim da Estrela, the ideal location for time spent in contemplation of nature or moments of family-friendly leisure. The garden comes alive with art in the first week of each month, when it hosts an art and design market, while in summer the al fresco festive spirit reigns with free musical performances.
If you wish to explore in more touristy areas, Ela sits on the foot of the tram 28 route. This famous line crosses the city from east to west in 50 minutes, passing through all the historic landscapes of the city.
